11'' Infant of Prague Wood Carve

The Infant of Prague statue is made from select alpine wood that has been air dried. Skilled carvers sculpt the statues, the statue is then brought to life by talented painters. The Infant of Prague is one of the most popular devotions to the Child Jesus. The earliest history of the statue is traced back to 1628, when it was given to a princess for a wedding gift by her mother.
